Built in the early 20th Century as an annex building for the adjacent Buffalo State Hospital, this red brick Romanesque Revival-style building features a gabled and low-slope roof with a parapet, one-over-one windows, blind arches, gabled parapets, brick spandrels with textured decorative brickwork on the ends of the wings, oxeye windows on the gable parapets, and a central one-story entrance with a gabled parapet and entry door with a decorative surround featuring a blind arch. The building is a contributing structure in the Richardson Olmsted Complex, which was listed on the National Registe
