Built in 1901, this Prairie-style house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and H. Webster Tomlinson for E. A. Davenport, an assistant passenger agent at the Pullman Company. The house is clad in dark-colored board and horizontal batten siding on the first floor and stucco on the second floor, a gabled roof with wide overhanging eaves, art glass casement windows, a bay window and gabled dormer on the front facade, and a screened front entrance door within a small porch on the north side of the front wing.
