Built in 1929, this building, designed by Bruce Goff, originally served as a music studio, recital hall, and residence for Patti Adams Shriner. Its rigid cubism is reinforced by an enormous round window and other geometric shapes creating a modernity of form. Nine murals, painted by Olinka Hrdy and representing different forms of music, lined the recital hall. The original fountain for the studio was designed by Alfonso Iannelli and was made with orange, black and white terrazzo and chromium metal. Today the studio is known as the "Spotlight Theatre" and hosts the performance of an old fashion‹›
