The new building of the National Coach Museum designed by Brazilian architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha (Pritzker Prize 2006) with Portuguese architect Ricardo Bak Gordon, inaugurated in May 2015. Eastern facade of the main building, where the coaches are exhibited. In the interest of conservation, very little natural light is allowed to enter the exhibition space, hence the minimal window openings.
