Part of the main house at Hearst Castle, near San Simeon in central California. The tower is modeled after a church tower in Ronda, in southern Spain. Hearst Castle was built by newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst (1863-1951) from 1919 on. It contains many works of art and architecture which were brought to California, some of which were reassembled on the site.
