The Drake Hotel in Chicago (1920). It was designed by Marshall & Fox for the Drake brothers, who also owned the Blackstone Hotel. The building was an early home for WGN radio. Frank "The Enforcer" Nitti, the head of the Chicago Outfit after Al Capone, operated out of a suite of rooms. As one of the finest hotels in Chicago, it hosted many famous guests, including Princess Diana, Winston Churchill, and Frank Sinatra. Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe carved their initials into one of the rooms.
