Christ Church Lutheran, a national landmark in Minneapolis (1948). It was designed by Eliel and Eero Saarinen; it was Eliel's final building. It is closely based on their previous design in Columbus, Indiana. It was the eight building to win the AIA's 25-Year-Award, notably chosen ahead of Mies' Farnsworth House. Eero Saarinen designed an addition in 1962--his last building as well.
