Built in 1971-1973 and 1978-1979. this Modern Usonian building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and William Wesley Peters of Taliesin Associated Architects for the congregation of the First Christian Church of Phoenix, founded in 1952. The building was originally designed to serve as a chapel for the Southwest Christian Seminary in 1949-1950, but was never completed due to the seminary’s bankruptcy, with the church receiving permission from Olgivanna Wright to use the plans to construct a new worship center in 1971. The building consists of three sections, with the sanctuary at the south end
