The Contemporary Jewish Museum is located at 736 Mission Street at Yerba Buena Lane in the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The museum's 2008 redesign of and Deconstructivist style addition to the Jessie Street Substation – which was built in 1881 and designed by Willis Polk – was designed by Daniel Libeskind
